USAT ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP: $10 (required – click here!)

The Team Barracuda Level 1 program focuses on teaching the sport. Athletes will learn the details of each discipline; swim, bike, and run, as well as how to “transition” from one sport to the next. All training will be done in a manner that is Safe, Educational, and always FUN!

Practices take place twice per week from Spring to Fall! Although racing is never required, we will recommend a number of Youth races throughout the season, and HIGHLY encourage you to register for at least one to enjoy the benefits of all the great effort your athlete put into training!

Team Barracuda is a great way to introduce your child to the sport of triathlon and ensure that they are confident, relaxed, and well prepared to do their best!

Testimonials

“My son (10) has been a member of the Barracuda kids team for the last two Spring/Summer seasons and he enjoys it so much! Coach Jeff runs an excellent club and both new and existing members enjoy his enthusiasm, the fun and discipline he brings to training them. Triathlon is such a great sport for kids because they get a balanced, all-over body workout. You also don’t need expensive equipment to start out with; just some googles, running shoes, a bike. You can always upgrade where necessary if your child has a real passion for it. We would highly recommend Barracuda to anyone wanting to try out a new exciting multi-sport.” –Doreen H.
